Only the food got a lower number. It's good, just not many choices. After 1 year there my parents have run thru the menu. All staff are very sweet and accommodating. The facility looks very nice with courtyards and balconies and porches for sitting and enjoying the outdoors. It is also a Memory Care so if needed, your loved one does not need to move to another facility-just to get he Memory Wing.
What we like the most about Arbor Terrace Lakeway is that the staff makes the residents feel like family. The food is also fantastic. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families. I think it's the best one in the Greater Austin area
The facility is nice and people are very friendly. Food is good and place is very clean. Rather expensive but I feel comfortable and at peace with having my loved one here. [name removed]and [name removed] are wonderful. They bring all the details together and are super responsive.
My mom has been there since [date removed]. She started in memory care but thankfully she was reevaluated after 30 days and was moved to assisted living in mid-January. I have been there almost daily over the last two months. There are so many good things- the common areas are always sparkling clean, the lobby is open and bright, the dining room is efficient (and the food is pretty good), the gym is nice and open, and there are daily events and programming for the residents. I have had numerous issues with an administrative staff member including, lack of response after contacting her multiple times, lack of follow through on requested tasks and a rude attitude. This is the 2nd most expensive community in this area. [facility removed] is the most expensive. Arbor Terrace is a very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean community. We chose Arbor Terrace Lakeway because of the cleanliness, the professionalism, the friendliness and the attention to residents. The staff is very easy to work with and they are receptive to helping in any way they can.
She is in Arbor Terrace and very happy, and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families
My loved one is currently a resident at Arbor Terrace Lakeway. The beginning of the experience got off to a very rocky start, there was a lot of staffing changes. That has mellowed out. However, the food needs more change/improvement. Since they are now under new management, I gave them a higher rating. The new Executive Director has her stuff together.
We chose Arbor Terrace Lakeway because of the cleanliness and programs for memory care - and proximity to my house. The staff is very friendly and very helpful whenever you reach out and have questions. The med tech do their best to make sure residents are getting the care they need.
