Archibald’s Restaurant is located in a historic flour mill and silo built in 1877 by one of the original pioneer settlers to the Salt Lake Valley, Archibald Gardner. The service was excellent and the salmon with teriyaki sauce, mashed potatoes, and carrots and broccolli were excellent. The atmosphere is really great too. I had a birthday celebration dinner with my sister. I got the email for a free birthday meal, which is a really great bonus.

I come here every year for my birthday, or whenever I want to eat somewhere that's local and not a chain. Their food is pretty good, and their fries are to die for! I've always loved the atmosphere and the staff is always nice and accommodating.
I do not eat out often. their food was decent & gorgeous. their service is great. their staff are friendly and they even take modify food requests. they forgot one thing: to take tomato off my sandwich. but okay -it was quite delicious. it was not an allergy. the salad was awesome. the soup was perfect. everything else was great or better than. the view out the window was nice. it was a quiet little meal and that was pleasant. it was also nice to find a few lower cost food options on the menu, I had not noticed that previous... read more
