This facility is gorgeous cosmetically but the care provided is way below standard, as they are woefully understaffed or perhaps they simply don't care. Family member who was there for over a month would go nearly an hour before a response to call button. Witnessed by family member's directly, so we could see it firsthand. My father in law was here recently after a hospital stay. The case manager has a bad attitude and has no compassion for what their patients are going through. I would never recommend this place to any of my loved ones!
This place sucks looks real nice but nursing is short staff . Take hours for someone to clean up a patient. They sit in there mess for long long periods . My loved one got bed sores there. The PT and OT do not work with nursing so you can wait all day for someone to take you back to bed or your room. So you sit for hours in pain. PT just leaves you at the nursing station facing the wall. PT does the bare minimum to help you OT will just ask you if your up To anything then walk away. I was once a patient here in November of 2015 and they were great. Total Hip replacement on the left and Zero weight bearing. Some of the CNAs were new and didn't have a clue, my first night was a bad experience. But over all they were quick to assist me, and the experience staff was fast and Great. I was rehabilitated enough to take care of myself at home in a wheelchair. But now my Mom is there. She is unable to bare weight on her legs and stand. If I could give a zero I would. Absolutely horrible. This facility has been a frequently used facility during the last few years by my family but no more. There have been many changes over the years most very unfavorable. There used to be a welcoming feel to this facility but that is no longer the case. You will never see the administrator roaming the halls to see first hand what is happening at the facility. My mother recently had to return and I can honestly say I feared for her safety there. I have never been comfortable with the idea of putting a loved one in one of these places. They always seems poorly staffed and unconcerned with their patients. This experience with Arlington Gardens just solidifies my fears. My Mother was moved to this location to be cared for temporarily until home hospital arrangements could be made. She was only supposed to be there two weeks max. I tried not to write this review but I have to. This is my first experience with a skilled nursing facility and I'm not pleased. As a few have already stated it's the night shift that is lacking. There is no sense or urgency to tend to these patients. I am the voice for my loved one and I have had to stifle what I would really like to say because I don't want my loved one to pay for it, he already is. What I mean by that is simple neglect.
