Get directionsUnfortunately my father didn't have a good experience at Arlington Gardens. Some of the staff are sweet and attentive. That said, some are not. My dad had an undiagnosed brain tumor when he was transported here. We all thought his stroke was due to a brain bleed. When we (his family) arrived a couple of days after him (due to health reasons), we were saddened to see his belongings looked like they had just been thrown on the ground. I had made him a special poster with photographs that he enjoyed looking at, and the poster w... read more
the food is horrible. Breakfast is ok but lunch and dinner aren't fit for human consumption. daily care we need to be changed and turning ed at least once a shift. Not being changed causes a break down in the skin. The cleanliness is a plus. The staff is alright.y was not changed for an entire shift and a half
Please take heed to the negative reviews. I believe most of the positives are from staff. Do not let the tours of this place fool you! The CNA, nurse and social workers will lead you down a rabbit hole with lies and blaming each other for mistakes made. Night time staff take forever getting to you! There's so much more to say nut not enough space. Please think hard and long in bringing a loved one here!
I honestly don't understand how this facility even received 3 Stars. If you want good care for your loved one, absolutely do not go there. My list of reasons is far too long to list. The lack of care and communication is just unacceptable. I reached out to admin, case workers, and nurses multiple times about my concerns, but to no avail. My father was there for two weeks too long, and he declined rapidly while there. Once I was finally able to get him discharged, he started to improve immediately. Such a terrible experien... read more
Our mom was in the facility and the nursing staff was terrible!! The one nurse clearly didn't like her job and should reconsider where she is working since she is working with people that are unable to help themselves. She has zero compassion or personality. Summer should consider going back to school and remember why she became a nurse in the first place. When we asked her to help our mom to go to the bathroom, she rolled her eyes, made a nasty comment and huffed and puffed and went in. We let her know we did not need her h... read more
some of the nurses are very nice but as soon as a they find out your leaving there attitude changed and no longer wanted to give her meds and we're rude and also didn't like her leaving and some other patients in the facility also would like to leave but are not helped if there insurance is paying seem to me there more in it for the money then to help people this review is for some one that was there that is very scared for some of the people there.
This facility did not respond to my concerns and messages about the flowers sent to a family member that were not received. The front desk gentleman on duty, took them at the door and that was the last time they were seen. These patients are often sick, disabled or elderly and the lack of ethics and compassion by any staff member is unacceptable. I questioned the florist, they said this was common at this facility.
Do not take a loved one to Arlington Gardens. This place is a nightmare. My Dad was there for a couple months in early 2022. While there they let him fall out of a wheelchair, lost his upper dentures and he developed bed sores. There were some nice employees there, but overall I found them to be rude and dismissive, especially the management. His room was consistently dirty. I had to ask them to clean him and his room. I also found a female patient outside at night sitting in the dark on the patio area that they forg... read more
Update: because of her fall at this facility, my mom's dialysis port failed because it was full of blood clots and after it was replaced she had to go into hospice and died. This place did not take care of her the way they should.
