First time at Arnette’s Chop Shop. My First time impression: Arnette’s is absolutely at the back of the pack of the many great steak houses in metro Atlanta. Grossly over priced in every aspect right down to the mandatory $5 valet parking fee when virtually no one was there on a Monday night. If Annette’s wants to be a top tier steak house, it needs a complete overhaul in interior ambiance and the quality of food prep and presentation for the high prices charged. We had an amazing dinner last year celebrating our anniversary, however, this year the food was surprisingly not good! The steak was not as flavorful as expected! The side dishes were cold and bland!
Food was quite good but our server gave zero customer service. He never told of us specials, we had to ask and had a hard time getting him to provide assistance with meal selections. He only came by once while we were eating and had to ask a couple of times for the bill.
The seating was horrible literally in the Kitchen with a very loud kitchen noise we were seated 30 minutes after reservation
Food wasn’t too good , paying more for the experience I guess. Not much of an intimate vibe
I am a regular here but this time my waitress forgot to put in a portion of my entree. The young manager came over to ask how things were going and I explained what happened. He responds was “ AND WE ARE TAKING CARE OF THAT.” His tone was wrong and if he already knew about it his approach should have been … “I am sorry for the mishap and would like to take care of it for you.” He was speaking to me as if I was inconveniently bothering him. The Valentine’s Day 3 course menu had very small portions. You can eat there for less during normal times for less money and more food. Definitely paying for the fact that it was Valentine’s Day. But the food was tasty as usual but would have liked a few more choices.
We felt rushed by wait service. Food was luke warm.
This is our fourth year spending Valentine’s Day at Annette’s. It’s always outstanding
