Just a very poor experience, would definitely avoid on Valentine’s Day. Food was cold by the time it got to our table. They let you make an “standard” indoor reservation but put us on their covered outdoor patio on the first floor which was really just a cheap looking tent. Service was ok but there were random miscellaneous charges added to our bill which almost felt like they were just trying to up charge and hope we wouldn’t notice. Would avoid for pre-fixed nights.
Ambience and service were great as usual however food quality this around wasn’t the best. We ordered salmon on a bed of spinach and it was extremely salty. Our appetizer was the bacon slab with jalapeño and that was great.
Love the restaurant. Been over 20 times. They just need to stop serving raw meat. Medium rare is not ice cold in the middle. Happens all the time here.
I sent a request to have staff come to the table with a bottle of champagne to wish my dinner guest a happy new year. Our waiter said happy birthday and then stumbled on happy new year. The surprise's ruined, so I canceled the champagne request and ordered wine.
The price of the food and quality of food was definitely not worth it!! The rib-eye had no taste! Atmosphere was excellent and perfect service.
I took my teenage boys for a special date and they were thrilled with the food and ambience. Our amazing server, Shag took the time to explain all of the options to the guys. One loved his steak and the other loved the lobster Mac and cheese with a side of scallops. Personally I was pleased with oysters (that were shucked correctly) and the bone marrow. Unfortunately 1/2 of the chicken dish we ordered was not cooked. The scallops that we ordered were also significantly undercooked. We could not locate the waitress and when the bus person took our plates we mentioned that the food was undercooked. No follow-up from that comment. Waitress appeared 20 minutes later with the check with no questions about our un eaten food. It turns out that the only item to order is the steak. This was a very expensive lesson for us in bad food. We will not be back anytime soon.
We hate to report but whole evening was off. They sat us on porch at table for 6 when we had reservations for four on Outdoor metal furniture. Set reservation weeks ago but a bit felt like overflow seating. Waiter took forever to bring menus and he was so odd and missed our orders in a few ways. For the price at very expensive steakhouse not at all worth the price. We’ve loved this restaurant group but this really missed the mark which was a bummer as tonight was a special bight for us.
Side of potatoes were cold in the middle, straight out fridge and steak was just OK for the price.
