I had my initial appt which included a cleaning. I was left in the chair for 40 min twiddling my thumbs waiting for the dental hygienist to come back. Then I was told that she had to leave for the day to go pick up her son and we would have to reschedule. I finally got a call 2 weeks later. I would avoid going here. I ended up being dismissed with some of my teeth that were hurting which ended up being repaired via root canal elsewhere. I was also referred to a specialist to talk about getting a root canal because a crown I had was hurting. Turns out after going to emergency tooth doctor the crown was seated incorrectly. It was a waste of time taking off work to see the specialist and this clinic.

Show up for my appointment and there is a sign on the door saying they are closed. Didn't get a call, text or email that my appointment was cancelled. The woman next to me drove all the way from Tualatin in traffic at 3:00 just to have her appointment cancelled and she didn't get a call either. How unprofessional! I get things can go wrong and closing early is needed but if you have my number AND my email you would think a message saying "hey we can't fit you in today sorry" would be waiting for me in my inbox. After a few years of putting off dental care because my prior experience was so painful and left scars in my mouth, I took a chance on Aspen Dental. FRIENDS, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. PROS: It's clean, has easy parking, and they can usually get you in right away. Your first visit is NOT a cleaning, it's an evaluation and a sales pitch. Absolutely the worst professional medical or dental environment I've ever had the displeasure of working with. You have to call 55 times to get somebody to just answer the phone and when they do they don't honor their verbal commitments. I called to schedule a cleaning and a whitening, I was assured by the person on the phone that that's what I was coming in for. Stay far away from this dental office! My fiancé went in for terrible pain about a year ago. He needed a crown; we got the crown along with $2000 worth of nothing. Not to mention they rescheduled his procedure 4 times because they didn't have the staffing. When we finally got it done and got home! THE CROWN FELL OFF within 24 hours! !!! He went back for a replacement; being charged again! We just went to a new dentist. The crown was done incorrectly and has a LARGE cavity underneath!

Inquiring about denture alignment I was told that yes they offer this service and I would get a free exam. Not really needing a exam I agreed to one two weeks out. 30 minutes of my complete medical history, another 10 minutes pass, I was call back and asked to remove my dentures which I did. 10 more minutes pass and a man ( assuming he has the dentist, there was no introduction) asks me where did I get my dentures which I disclosed then he said well we can help you.... what? Haven't seen the same hygenist twice in over 3 years, seems like a temporary job for dentists-to-be. Hygenists are competent, but office staff screws up pretty regularly with scheduling snafus and insurance billing issues. Recent negative interaction with large hostile woman at Gresham office was the last straw. Business would more aptly be named Aspen McDental... so I'm on the search for a professional, established dentist. Can no longer subject myself to this idiocy.
