Made an appointment a week ago for a broken tooth. Sit at the dentist for 1/2 hour, only to have them come out and tell everyone in the lobby that they need to reschedule because there is no dentist coming in! Same thing happened in December w/my son. This place obviously has no clue what they are doing.
I had a bad tooth, called Aspen had to wait 4 days for a appointment, The out come was to remove the tooth, they gave me a prescription for infection. About 4 days latter I noticed part of my old tooth was coming thru my gum, I called Aspen told them the pain I was in but their next appointment for me would be almost 4 weeks for me to get it out of my gum, I had to wait in pain for 4 weeks. The absolute worst experience ever! The actual dentist and staff were OK, but the office mgt./finance dept use bait and switch tactics that border on fraud! I was told by the first office manager that my insurance was fantastic and I would "only" have to pay 2600.00 for my dentures. Six months later, when it was time to be fitted with my permanent dentures, I was told by a new office manager that my insurance didn't cover the entire balance and I owed another 2600.00! I was told I had to come in for an exam before they would clean my teeth. So I went and had the exam done and the dentist said i needed to have the last three I had left on the bottom pulled and to have implants done and new dentures made. They said I needed a CT scan done before they proceeded, which cost me $200.00 out of my pocket. Then they told me I didn't have enough bone left in my bottom jaw and that they couldn't do it for what they had recommended for me earlier. I went because I needed my molar extracted. The Dr. told me I needed all my bottom teeth removed and dentures. I don't have the money right now and I'm moving out of state they checked and they do have an office where I'm moving to. I said I would go there but I need the molar out now. gave my husband an abcess after a DEEP cleaning. tried to sell us everything in the world including a partial plate when we came in for a cavity. Wanted us to finance over 1700 for teeth cleaning. big rip off...we ended up in the ER because when we called them for help they said they could not help us...because they were closed. My husbands whole head was swelling and his throat was closing.....we had to go the ER which our insurance did not cover because they said it was a dental issue. On a short visit from MI to FL my front tooth crown fell out. Dr. Kallali of Aspen Dental of Bradenton was able to get me back together in no time. Very friendly staff. Very clean facility. It has been 3 days now and the temporary crown is still holding up quite nicely. My dentist in MI has me set up to do the permanent crown but we thought I would make it through the 2 week vacation without a problem. Thank you Aspen Dental for getting me as soon as you did.
