Do NOT go here. I saved for years to get my four front teeth fixed and got them done here. It was a temporary dentist, the actual one seems to be gone a lot. When my dentist came back, he said they shouldn't have done the surgery. Those crowns fell out within a year! Now I'm toothless and had to pay them around 700 dollars for a temporary flipper. I arrived at 8:45 for a 9am appointment, and did not leave until 11:30, and still did not get a teeth cleaning. I was x-rayed, spoke to the dentist, and waited, and waited, and waited for the hygienist, who essentially repeated everything the doctor said, 30 min prior. I am a pre-med patient and this was disclosed in paperwork, and rather than saying "let's reschedule," I was told all of these things that I needed to start doing based on my x-ray, without getting in and seeing exactly my needs. Just this morning my husband went into the office to what we thought was going to be for impressions, & extractions for his new partial. We had been there in October for the initial consultation, and were told that his next visit would be to get impressions and do the extractions. We were told otherwise once we got there. Called and made a cleaning appt. Was told they needed x-rays also. OK, waited one month for the appt. Went early as they requested then waited over 30 mins pass my appt time. Finally in the back and had x-rays, dentist looked, and the hygienist. After two and half hours they now tell me I will need to make appt to get my teeth cleaned to the sum of $1700 because they won't clean my teeth unless they do gum work. My appt was to get my teeth cleaned! Rip off if I have ever seen one.
Fraud and scam artist!!! On 3 different visits here I have paid my bill before leaving then received bills in the mail. The 2 separate visits that they did this on they told me to disregard the bill that it was paid and they would fix it. This company is the worst. I scheduled for 12/13 and they put it in computer wrong and had it for 12/12, so I reschduled for 12/20, had to wait 45 minutes before being seen. This place is a total ripoff as well. They also wanted to do a gum treatment plan vs a cleaning at the tune of over $800.
Do a better job looking at patients insurance benefits before starting work and giving a cost which later turns out to be off by $900!
Corpus Christi Location: went in for my first visit... Worst experience I’ve ever had a a dentist. Tried to sneak in a bunch of charges for things I don’t think were necessary. The hygienist made sure to ask me where I worked before the exam and seemed more like a used car salesperson than a medical professional. $130 toothbrush on my bill that no one even spoke to me about. I had to walk out. I’m currently looking for another dentist that takes my insurance.
SCAM I regularly see a dentist every 6 months for a check up and cleaning. Had moved so was looking for a new dentist. The Hygienist Sunshine was so rough and kept poking said I had 3 bad areas in my gum... how in 6 months do I go from hearing how great my dental hygiene is. How my gums are in great shape, to needing over $1100 in gum treatments. Mind I, I use an electric toothbrush and water-pick daily. Then Dr Patel comes in looks at x-rays and says what hurts?
