This facility first refused to believe that I, a woman, was the primary subscriber to my insurance. The receptionist kept asking me if my insurance was under my fathers name or my husbands name, even after multiple times saying it's under my name. Secondly, I stated multiple times when scheduling my appt AND checking in for my appt that I'm pregnant. I agree with Lizette B's review. If you are inclined to go with Aspen Dental - get a second opinion. Aspen told me that I had significant bone loss and really didn't even exam my mouth or do measurements at the gum line. I left without getting anything done but the xrays. Then went to a Periodontist and he said that was nonsense and all I needed was a cleaning - not deep cleaning or scraping, etc. They were estimating $1,000 OVER what my insurance was going to pay. Sad.

If I could give "0" stars I would. This was the single worst experience of my life. I get there 5 mins early for my appointment, and don't get back to the room for xrays and scan until 8:20- Mind you, I'm the first person of the day. Then, the sweet dentist comes in after looking at my x-rays, even shows me the x-rays and tells me everything looks great, only concern is a partially erupted wisdom tooth that is showing signs of decay. After 3 months I finally got a refund for a crown I cancelled that I paid for. I received a bill in the mail for crown work that I never had done I called aspen dental and was told they'd fix that bill since I never had that done by them. A month later and I've received another bill telling me that bill for work I never had done is past due and to pay immediately. I went to this place about 3 times. Upon my initial exam I was told I had periodontal disease and needed a deep cleaning. I had it done and had to pay $700 out of my own pocket for it that insurance didn't cover. Afterwards I needed to get periodontal maintenance and was required to go get cleaning every 3 months. My last recent visit that I didn't even go in for they were saying I needed to pay $275 for xrays, oral cancer exam & my cleaning & idk what else. so what does insurance even cover? UPDATED 3Jan2022: Just received yet another bill from Aspen. It doesn't stop with them. They charge for nonsense crap and use codes that they know insurance won't pick up. I have amazing insurance and a dental supplemental. It looks like I could be on the hook for an additional $300. I have never in my life had to pay for X-rays and a cleaning. Please STAY AWAY FROM ASPEN!!!!!! Terrible. I've never had a good experience with Aspen and I've been to two now, one being in Indiana. The same issues with both establishments. ... read more

I am so disappointing with the poor quality of my partial. It cuts into my gum. I have a sore joint in my jaw from not being able to close my mouth correctly. I have to take the partial out to eat. Isn't eating the purpose of the partial? I can't chew with the partial, the pain in unbearable. I paid thousands of dollars to get this done. I didn't want it but a Dr Joe talked me into it. Stay away from this place. If you have good insurance - they will attempt to milk it! My original dental office no longer accepted my insurance and I had to find a place with flexible hours, so this is where I ended up. Called less than a day notice to say they don't have a hygentist available to do a cleaning. Said their hygentist was on vacation with less than a days notice. Seems unprofessional .
