Very dishonest about pricing. Quoted me $1025. When I said is that after insurance the lady said they forgot to put my insurance in. So after the calculated in the insurance the price was the same! I said how could it be the same when insurance is paying the bigger portion?? She said without insurance they used a coupon. But coupon is no good with insurance! What a scam. Thieves! Should be investigated for insurance fraud. Dentist was awesome though.
If not for the staff, I would have given only 1 star. I would strongly recommend that the online service of making one's own appointment be eliminated. I made my appointment this way thinking that I would be able to book the time that fit best into my schedule, which is what I think is one of the objectives would be. Im very disappointed because long time only making appointment not done yet my teeth ... I have 1 month after remove old teeth they do like not professional.
Went there for a cleaning yesterday waited 45 min took 4 other people in front of me I understand maybe they wasn't there for a cleaning but then I was told the dentist needed to use the chair hygienist chair so I left without my cleaning.
I had a tooth pulled, it was around $260.00. I liked the dentist and he did a good job. The receptionist and future visit lady were not friendly and all about the money. They said I needed a gingivitis cleaning which would cost aprox. $1600.00. I have had a gingivitis cleaning before and all it is, is a very good cleaning. When I was a child the dentist called this a cleaning and charged about $100.00. Made an appointment for 5:15pm. Thinking I would be in and out like promised.. I had to wait an hour is a small room, uncomfortable dentist chair for the dentist to come.. I understand walk is are welcome, but why make me make an appointment only to let a walk in take it?! �
Finance department doesn't care about the patients teeth. Tell you one thing then turn around to tell you completely something different about how to get ur bill due. Seems to me, all they want is the money and don't care what happens to the person teeth or life. Don't go to a place that gets bad results all the time here in Mattoon IL
I made my daughter an appointment for the $19 scheme they have going on, apparently she had been there one time in the distant past so she wasn't considered a "new" patient. Between that and all the extras she paid over $200! Not Happy
Only positive thing I have to say about this establishment is about the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. Other than that it was like a bad episode of dental school. Yes, I have insurance and had other options but I had confidence in aspen dental. Went in with zero tooth pain and have had constant problems since stepping out the door. So disappointed. frown emoticon Lesson learned and I hope no one else has the experience I had.
