I was surprised to have a co pay for a simple check up with no cleaning
Took my friend in for denture reclines. They talked him into new dentures. They don't fit right, teeth are crooked and off centered, they pinch in some areas and sores in other. Went back several times. Was told to leave them in and build up like a callus in there. Now he can't even get an appointment anymore. Really? He has no teeth now to use. His mouth hurts and he's out a small fortune of his meager disability income.
Been going to Aspen dental in Roseburg, OR. At first they were OK in 2015 and early 2016... it was nice they provided costs BEFORE they did the work etc. However, in the last year that has changed. They are now adding all sorts of things to your bill (my Mom, myself and my husband all use them with two different insurances). They push fluoride without asking. Had my teeth cleaned and didn't get any of the little goodies afterwards like floss, toothbtushes, etc. Paid the same price. Cutting back, but not cutting back on price?
I was really happy with Dr.Ho. But! I have a tooth that is broken and the gum is really sore. I was told the papers were fax when I was signing my financial papers yesterday. BUT then I find out that they hadn't even been fax yet today because the doctor hadn't signed off on them. Do not tell me something has been done when it hadn't been done!!!! My jaw is swollen and it's fairly painful. Dr. Ho could see that yesterday. Why they didn't sign off on it yesterday as soon as she was done with me is beyond Me!
Doctor was so easy , caring, , the financial part she was so helpful wonderful, sweetheart, now the receptionist , was rude, I ask for a appointment she would not look at me she just said they will be with you, my Opinion she doesn't Need to be working with the public ,
Hopefully you will take the time to read. Had been going to Aspen for 3 years, I was diagnosed with cancer and was going through chemo and radiation so could not receive dental treatment. When I returned after 1 1/2 years... they gave me a list of things that I needed. I got the crown that they said I needed $1226.00, then on my next appt. they told me I had gum disease, 3 cavities ( one of which was in the tooth they had just crowned) Charged me over $300 for dental consultation (telling me to brush and floss).
