Never ever go there. Most of the guys wrote here is actually true. Aspen recommended $3000 upwards of stuff where in only $1000 would be covered by insurance. $2000 from my pocket. And there are some optional items like rota dent and some other crap which would save me $200. I have periodontis disease it seems and I need deep cleaning with Arestin. I don't want to give them any starts at all!!! STAY AWAY from Aspen Dental. Not only is the staff completely RUDE and incompetent, the dentists are a joke as well. I had some work done there last year and they messed up the insurance and overcharged me $550! Now I have to try and get my money back! They now won't return my phone calls! I agree with the other reviewers. They must get commision because they try to sell you everything (special mouthwash, special flouride toothpaste and the rotodent toothbrush). I went in had a root canal done and then was told I needed a deep cleaning (almost $600 just for the cleaning) before they would do crown. They did the deep cleaning and they must have forgot about doing crown because the next appointment they tried to schedule was 4 months out to check my gums from the cleaning. I agree with all the reviews below. The place is sterile litterally. The dentist is not personable at all, no social skills whatsoever. They don't even look you in eye when they shake your hand to meet you, in hopes for relationship building for future appointments right? Nope nothing. all they want to do is get up in your mouth for one sec call out some numbers about what is potentially wrong with you so they can diagnose you with stupid things. Prior to this... this place is a tooth farm i just wanted to get my teeth cleaned and they started with the exrays then they said I needed to get some teeth pulled before i even had a cleaning and that i had to see the manager to set up a plan that if i paid the whole 5,000 up front i could save 5% I think the state should shut them down
Gotta agree with Ann... you sit in the chair for 15 minutes, and get seen for about 1 minute combined by three different dentists. This place is awful. They told me they could fill a cavity, couldn't do it TWICE, and then needed a root canal... came back... and they said I needed a crown lengthening after that... instead of telling me everything all at once. Useless. I'd rather do my own dental work. Don't go there.
I had very bad experience with them. The equipment is old. There is no personal touch to their service. I really didn't have a choice because of my insurance. Just to pull out acing tooth I have to wait 3 weeks. And don't even believe them that nothing can be done except pulling the tooth out. I wouldn't trust them if I have a choice.
