They installed my unit and put the compressor right by the sliding glass door by the patio so it blows constant hot or cold air if you are trying to sit out there. Knowing this now I would have put it 2 feet away. I have had them come back 3 times to service. The first time was good. The second time they did not clean the compressor unit and had to come back to complete the job. NOT GOOD! The sent out Kevin and another tech in training. I could hear Kevin cussing at the other guy and demeaning him throughout the job. After several hours the system was "fixed" but the cost was extreme, once I called around and researched what they did. If they treat their own employees this way, you can imagine how the customers get treated. DO NOT HIRE

My first review ever, which should tell you how bad my experience was with this company. After calling them back to my house 3 times to fix their self inflicted complications, an $80 short between the pump and the central unit ended up costing near $700. When they could only get the system to work by use of the Emergency Heat, they tried to tell me it was cheaper to run it that way, completely lying and challenging my intelligence (ability to Google it). Untrustworthy Uneducated Unprofessional

Not only do they hit you with a fee just for coming to your home of $79, but for a 10 minute fix it will cost you approximately another $160. They are way to over priced. Do not just this company.

If there was negative stars Associated Heating would deserve it. I HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND ASSOCIATED HEATING. I was clear on my issue, I was still charged a diagnosis fee after the fact I gave a detailed description of my problem. Two weeks later they call me with a $300 price to repair my stove. Really! All my stove needed was a new gasket to be installed which cost me less than $20.00 and not even an hour to do. These guy's are CROOKS and UNPROFESSIONAL. Again look away when you see Associated Heating.

The good: they came out and fixed the problem The bad: they charged me a second diagnositic/trip fee for the problem because I did not authorize it immediately. They were NOT flexible. The result: I asked them to waive the second fee as being unfair, they gave me $25 off the $75 (coupon) fee. Since they did not have to do any diagnositics, and they had to get the part from their warehouse (or wherever they get them) the 2nd trip fee should not have been charged. I was disappointed in their inflexibility.

On March 6th, Associated Heating checked my installation of a Nest Thermostat. The tech indicated he would rewire the the Heat Pump Kit, as it is not used by the Nest thermostat. No problems. Paid $132. Fast forward to April 7th, I lose my 24volts to the Thermostat. I'm used to work in the HVAC field, and have no problems checking for 24volts with my Fluke. I know that the wiring from the Furnace, Heat Pump and thermostat are all connected at the Heat Pump Kit, which is located in a galvanized box on the side of the furnac... read more

Had a new HVAC system ($$$) installed by Associated Heating 3 months ago. For the record, it is a Lennox system, which is supposed to be a pretty good brand. I have had to have repairmen back FOUR TIMES in that three months to repair the heat pump. Scary, isn't it? I'm not sure if they sold me a "lemon" or if they are just incompetent, but I certainly cannot recommend Associated Heating.
