My regular vet was on vacation and my dog had an infection. Atlantic Animal Hospital was able to fit her in the next morning and they quickly diagnosed her and sent us home with medicine to heal her. They were very kind and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with their level of service and care and will absolutely recommend them to others.

We have been taking our mini dachshunds to the Port Orange location for over 10 years. We have gone through the loss, due to age related medical issues, and the staff have always found a way to get us in when needed even during the height of Covid. The compassion by everyone was outstanding. We only went a few months without pups and now our 2 additions, also dachshunds, are in their care. Been going here for years. Staff is polite, appointments are normally on time with minimal wait and prices are fair. Met Dr Debiasio today for my cattledog's yearly check up. Great care, answered all my questions and out of there in 30 mins.

I see from some of the previous reviews that not everyone is happy with this practice. Our experience was absolute 100%. Note that this vet has very good reviews on Google Reviews. This is my daughter's vet, and I went with her on October 13 when she had to make the very difficult decision to euthanize her 13-year-old furbaby. She had taken "Bella" to the Volusia emergency vet in Ormond Beach over the previous weekend (Atlantic was closed) when Bella wouldn't eat, drink, or get up and walk. I took my pet rat here on a Saturday night at around 10pm. She was seen within 30 minutes of our arrival and the doctor was very gentle and compassionate. They prescribed her some antibiotics for her respiratory infection and prices were very reasonable. Very reasonable wait time and prices for examinations compared to other local emergency vets, I will be taking my pets here from now on.

I went with my Mom and her beloved cat Sammi, and I can't say enough about Dr. Zavota and Raven for their kindness during this very tough loss. THANK YOU and we will always recommend them! We love our animals so much and to find an emergency team who are very caring and NOT money hungry. I am sorry for the other reviewers who felt the need to write a negative review...... maybe you should all try to find the positive in a negative situation. THANK YOU AGAIN

I was in a major panic 7 AM July 5th. My young dog, Herbie had somehow gotten a round marrow bone lodged on her bottom jaw behind her canines. She was SCREAMING and I was frantic. All the vets close by were closed because of the hour and it being 4th of July weekend. I brought in my 4 crazy ferrets for a wellness check up. They were thoroughly checked over from their noses to their tails. They inspected teeth, tummies, fur, listened to hearts, lungs etc. Then after their shots they knew to watch them for awhile to be careful of an allergic reaction. Someone even called to check up on them today. I would definitely recommend Dr. Carlson & staff.
