I would give zero stars if that was an option. My mother and I recently moved here, and she made the difficult decision to euthanize her 15 year old chihuahua because of aggression. He seriously injured her last week and she is now afraid of him. I took him to see Dr Jordan because the lady on the phone was very nice when I called. To come to the point, Dr Jordan refused, even after calling the previous vet, who told her the dog had long term aggression. She acted like I was a murderer, and I was trying to do the right thing... read more

Business response:

Hello Maria, Our team at Atlantic Animal Hospital always strives to provide compassionate and professional care for our patients and their owners. We understand that euthanasia is a difficult decision, especially when dealing with aggression issues. Our veterinarian, Dr. Jordan, follows a thorough process to ensure the safety and well-being of both pets and their owners. While it was our first time seeing Spot and we appreciate the previous vet's input of him being "very cranky and aggressive to house mates", it is still ou... read more

Went here for years with my 8 pets. Paid the high prices because the staff was always friendly. The women up front are great. Been through 4 different vets there since Adman left. Today some smart ass man was on the phone being rude when I said I was never told to return in 30 days for the samples I was charged for. He sparked an argument with his comment so I will not be back. Getting all my records and if I was in fact charged for the samples I will file a small claims. I don't care if it was 70 dollars or 300 for all my ... read more

Their lack of attention to my sick dog resulted in his esophageal burns and eventually his demise. Would never bring my dogs here again

Business response:

Mare, based on the information presented we can't seem to identify you as a client at either of our offices. We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience; however, you must have been seen at another clinic, not at Atlantic Animal Hospital.

As you can see, their rating is not good. They were great in their small location across the street 7 or so years ago. Then they grew. 24 hr emergency, etc. Nasty. Rude, obstinate. Late, expensive. Now the emergency outfit is gone. They kept promising change to me but now worse. No customers. New vet every time I go. Twice a year for 11 years. Stay away, you will not feel love, understood and no compassion. I was told I was rude for defending myself of my appointment time and service being performed. Simpl... read more

Business response:

We are sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with Atlantic Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, it was your behavior towards our staff and doctor that lead us to provide you the chance to go elsewhere. Our staff and doctors do not deserve to be spoken to in the manner that you spoke to them during your last visit with us. We wish you and your pet the best and hope you're able to find a clinic that suits your needs.

Client for years- renovated orig clinic for Orig vet. Left 3 messages over a span of 3 days, not one return call! Took my dog elsewhere . He died. NEW owners obviously do not care.

I called in advance and brought my dog here due to an emergency situation. He had all symptoms of acute prostatitis very suddenly and seemed to be rapidly deteriorating so I brought him to the nearest open ER clinic near my home. It took more than 10 hours for my dog to get the diagnostic testing that he required in which time I had to sit in the parking lot unable to be inside to comfort him. I saw other animals come after my dog and leave before his tests were even completed and was told it was because they were "emergency... read more

Horrifc experience!!!!!! If you want to keep your pet alive and safe DO NOT take them here! The staff was as cold as ice and all they wanted to make sure was that they recieved payment! Never got to see the actual "vet" at first and a tech came in with "well they think it's this so it will be this amount of money to clarify." They sedated my sisters dog to which they said was freaking out in their kennel and then when we asked to see him they brought him in and he was making an awful sound being sedated and when I asked if h... read more

Respectfully, this clinic has great reviews and I choose if for it's ability to provide quality care. But, their care has disappointed; in every way. Unresponsive vets! Following a $1000 "required" test, I waited two-weeks for results, then began calling; it took 5-weeks to get any response for a test they deemed urgent (it took 2-emails and 21-calls over 5-weeks - before anyone could share the results of this "urgently needed" test). When asking for a prescription refill (for a terminal pet) they insisted on additional tes... read more

Absolutely the worst possible vet experience I could've ever dreamed of! I have a 11 week old lab puppy and she broke out of her pen and I believe she had swallowed some possibly sharp plastic and she started acting funny so I took her to this animal hospital at 10o'clock at night. My wife is currently in the hospital at mayo clinic in Jacksonville and at that time I had just came back to check on the puppy so I didn't have my wallet with me. On the paper I was given to sign to agree to pay for the x-ray, it said their excep... read more
