Please listen to the reviews about this vet! It's a waste of money and your pet will not get relief!! We took our dog here because our regular vet couldn't get him in that day and he was in excruciating pain. We spent 5 minutes with the vet and she didn't even touch him, she just gave him an IV with pain medicine and sent him home with pain medicine for what she told us was an injury to his back. After two doses of the medication, my dog was still in so much pain that he couldn't sit or lay down. I called her the next day... read more
I had my husband take our 14 year old pup in because she had kennel cough. The vet Dr. Carlson mis diagnosed her so I called and spoke with her and she was extremely rude and talked down to me. They prescribed her nausea medication and over priced robitussin for what they said was tracheal spasms. This medication is extremely inappropriate as an approach for treatment and they should have told him to get a cheaper over the counter form of robitussin but of course they just want to make money off of people. I then went to try... read more

Very disappointed in the services and treatment by the Atlantic Animal Hospital. POOR customer Service. Shame on you AAH, get your act together!!
So this is not our normal vet, however they advertise emergency care. We spent more than 2 hours waiting with a sick dog. We were told there would a bit of a wait when we arrived with 1 pet ahead of us. Then we asked again an hour plus later and were told now there were three ahead of us and the Vet would see us in 20 minutes. It is now 45 minutes later and still we are waiting. They me be great however I would think a sick pet may get a bit of priority or consideration. After 2 hours and 20 minutes of waiting we left... read more
Yelp makes you give a 1 wish they had negatives. Spent two hours waiting for a 2 minute visit with what they say was a doctor. After looking at Izzie she said she needed to be hospitalized. I said I would get a second opinion and was treated rather rude. I went ro another vet who did a blood test and discovered Izzie was In complete kidney failure. I would not recommend this place to people I hate so no way would I send someone I like.
I only have them one star because giving them zero is apparently not an option. I started out really liking this vet for my dogs until something went wrong with one of my dogs, then I saw the ugly side of this vet. I recently lost a pet while he was in their care and the way they handled everything was beyond unprofessional. I also believe they did not fully attend to my dog while he was there and that is why we lost him. A few of the staff are completely Unknowledgeable of animal health care and the rest are just not compas... read more
