My dog is convulsing on the floor with drool running from his mouth. 2 hours later I am still sitting in the room waiting to be seen. Stay away if you love your animal.

We brought our dog in because she was having difficulty breathing. After hours of waiting they finally put us in a room and we waited longer. They examined our dog but was unable to hear her heart properly - get better equipment! The place is under renovations which was not an issue, the issue was the competency of the staff. The assistant took her temp, and she had no fever. The vet came in and said maybe it was an infection? Not likely since she has no fever! Then they needed me to sign off for the cost of tests. A... read more

We took our senior dog there, reporting that he was having seizures. This was about 8 am October 29, 2018. The vet, and I use this term hoping not to offend competent veterinarians, on duty examined my little fella and diagnosed that he merely had pneumonia. So, she treats him with antibiotics and IV fluids. They keep him there all day for observation. At 6:15 pm we get a call from the ER vet, an actual veterinarian, that she hears something wrong with my baby boy's heart and she tells us that he needs special care ASAP... read more

My little dog.Mimi had a seizure on Sat. and I took her to this emergency clinic because my cousin had used them before. The girl who let us in was rude & a complete imbecile. She took my dog in the back, never explained what they were doing to my baby. When she finally came back I wanted to know where my Mimi was. I knew the time had come to let her go but I wanted to be with her. The imbecile finally took me into a room & brought my baby to me. They doctor came in a couple of minutes later to give her the final injection. ... read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!! i took my dog here for a yearly exam, which lasted no more than 60 seconds. I was told he needed 8 teeth pulled and his murmur had went from a 1 to a 3 and he would have to see a cardiologist. Don't know how they knew this as they listened to his heart for less than 5 seconds. When checking out they had already made up approximate costs for both of these which was well over 2000 dollars. After taking my dog to another vet( whom I didn't tell what Atlantic had told me) he commented on how nice ... read more

The most unaccommodating veterinary office I've ever experienced. I am the unfortunate victim of the "wellness plan" which had me locked in for a year. If I left early, I would have had to pay them money.... go figure. I am at the end of the year now and am so thankful. My dog now needs knee surgery which only the Ormond Office completes. I didn't decide to do the surgery while at the office because I wanted to think about it. When I decided to go forward with the surgery, I was told I could do the blood work in Port Or... read more

This not our normal vet, but we were thankful they were open on a Sunday. My dog was bit by another dog. The vet (M.Carlson) who checked our dog out was nothing but rude and condescending. After putting drainage tubes and stitching him up (poorly I might add) they sent us on our way with a follow up in 5 days. Well, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned to them (wrong move). He had one stitched up wound that was opening up and my dog did pull out one of the drainage tubes(she scolded me about that I should have l... read more

Wow. What a HORRIBLE experience. We have an emergency with our cat who has been BLEEDING for a week!! We've been dealing with misdiagnosis, ongoing vet bills, no call backs, no information, and when we stressed our complaints and lack of confidence in their care, Dr. Carlson herself got on the phone and said they would "transfer his records because their involvement was over, honey". That's right, she called me Honey, to which I responded don't call me honey, I'm not your honey. And then she hung up on me! Professionalism at... read more
