Very poor customer service. They change pickup times without notice and don’t care if your trash is pickup or not. Go with a different company!
I have Wednesday and Saturday service. I'm the only one on my street with Saturday pickup, and I have ongoing problems with that day. I'm paying for twice a week service so I should get twice a week service whether I'm the only customer on the street or not. I had to call them this morning and was told they don't have a truck going out today. I chose AD because they recycle and my friends had good service from them. Did not send us a bill for 6 months - either printed or emailed. Did not go to junk folder either. Cancelled my service and charged me $40 to reconnect. Lady over the phone told me that I knew I was receiving service and should’ve paid a statement I NEVER received! If the local guys can’t figure out how to collect on their accounts then I’ll have to go with the corporate service providers. Again, the lady on the phone was uncaring and accepted no responsibility. She told me that was a decision that was up to me.
It's picked up sometimes. Wednesday is questionable. Saturday is 100%. If you don't receive a bill (internal issues, not my problem) they will dump your trash on the street and take your trash can, which I think is unacceptable.
After over 2 years with them, today we canceled our service. The paper we got from them said our limit for yard waste was 20 bags for pickup. So we set out 21 bags last night after dark and they picked up 10 of them. When I called the lady said that they limit it to 10 now. No one told us or notified us in any way. She said it is on their website - like I am going to check the website of my trash collector every week to see what changes they make. RecommendedAugusta Disposal didnt pick up trash last Monday but it was Labor Day. I just dealt with the trash for another week. Now after 2 weeks of trash piling up , its pick up day! I put the extra 4 bags on top of the can to keep them off the ground. They threw them on the ground and emptied the can. I just called and customer service told me i had to go to circle K and buy stickers to put on my extra bags. Wow i dont think so ! Calling a new trash service. There is too many other companies out there to put up with this.
Rude customer service.My son called to ask when we were going to get our trash can after being told we were going to get it soon and the woman said,”so what! I have used this company for 3 years. Never had any issues. We would put extra bags out my the can and they always picked them up for us. Today (check in day for my masters renters) they picked up the cans and left the extra trash!!! Why if all weeks would y’all do this. I didn’t know I had to tag the bags! Inconsistent and not reliable. We’ve paid on time for 3 years and they act like we owe them apologies if they mess up and don’t pick up our trash. Consider other options if you have them.
