Never trust your vehicle with this dealer. They will recommend services that is not needed and mess up your car. There are plenty of dealers in town who are better. They deserve negative rating!!
Service department is horrid, and the sales team is worse. My recent experiences: (1) They replaced the 12v outlet, a one hour job. They broke the main display panel in the process. It took a week before they were able to fix it. (2) Took car in for "Check Engine" light. $1000 later, they say the problem is fixed. I called several times to get the air bag recall done. Each time I was told someone would call me to schedule it. It never happened! Finally someone called me to ask why I had not gotten the recall done. I told them my experience. They called dealer, got me an appointment for Monday 12:40. I arrived on time and was told it would be done by 5:30. I AM STILL WAITING! It is 8:00 Tuesday and I am still waiting.
Actual rating is 0 stars. Went in for an oil change and they sold us a battery about 2 weeks ago. Car wouldn't start last Friday. Called the service department, no answer. Left message,NO return call whatsoever! Had a wedding, so towed it locally to find out it was a DEAD CELL in the brand NEW battery! Now when we took the battery back today, the service department says they won't take it back be cause we had it serviced somewhere else. I have been on hold for 59:07 minutes!!!! My dashboard is lit up with warning lights and I can't get service on the line!!!
They had horrible costumer services, they screwed up are car, and when we went to go pick it up they lost it and it ended up being at a dealership in Schaumburg and we didn't know for two week's and had no rental. After all this they didn't know we had a warranty and charged us thousands of dollars when It should have been free. This was after a week of having the car.
Dealing with Autonation Ohare was (and continues to be) hands down the worst car buying experience of my life. Let me begin: I lived over an hour away from AnO and for convenience sake, had been doing a lot of my search work via the internet which is where I stumbled upon the car I wanted to buy and started the process of purchasing it through their Internet Sales Department.
