Get directionsI’m deeply disappointed by how this practice handled our newborn’s care. We came seeking compassionate, individualized pediatric support, but were instead dismissed solely because we chose to delay vaccinations after thoughtful research and discussions as a family. There was no attempt to understand our child’s unique health needs or engage in respectful dialogue—just a blanket refusal to provide care. Medicine should honor the principles of informed consent and the Hippocratic Oath: first, do no harm. Denying a newborn acc... read more
My Dr keeps making mistakes on my prescriptions
I heard the assistant tell the dr I was a nurse then laugh. I t Also heard her tell the dr that it was almost over. I came on for certain reasons, things that were offered before and now being told no, I can't help you. Told bloodworm would be completed and then asked to come back due to another patients issues. I drove an hour to see this dr and had real concerns. I was told, after I was seen an hour after my appointment time, that i could wait but didn't know how long I would have to wait to have blood work done. I left fe... read more
A nurse practitioner, Stephanie benson seemed nice but did absolutely nothing for me. I left very upset and discouraged because I had several things I was hoping to get answers for and I was advised that I had labs in a few weeks and there was nothing that could be done except to monitor things, I was also told and I quote "I have a feeling it's going to stop soon" referring to my problem which it still has not and now been 16 days. I had to go to a different doctor in Cary the same day who actually helped me and I got som... read more
Dr 1 hour late for a 10:40 am appointment. He came in with a timer and said he had to leave for next appointment before any physical exam. I asked for him to help with DMV 2 page from he has been doing in past and he said make another appointment. Not a very patient friendly visit.
I had to pay $300 for 2 appointments, one of which was for symptoms related to strep throat. I got antibiotics and it cleared up instantly, but came back a few weeks later. I called to see if I could get a second course of antibiotics and they wouldn't give me a refill without making another $150 appointment. When I told them I had to travel for work and couldn't make it, they transferred me to some other dept who basically said tough luck, go to an urgent care center. Awful customer service and nothing but greed here.
My provider's supervising physician undermined my plan of care-- I had been seeing Mary Holmes as my primary care provider since moving to Durham 2 years ago. She continued my plan of care based on my existing medical records and had been able to provide and adjust my prescriptions related to gender affirming care with respect and attention to detail regarding my hormone levels and bloodwork results. Unfortunately Mary Holmes' supervising physician, Dr. David Thies, has stepped in to prevent her from continuing to prescrib... read more
My labs indicated that I needed to see a specialist for an urgent appointment. The specialists I was suppose to see sent multiple messages over to request several labs and previous labs to schedule an urgent appointment. They never sent them in a timely manner. This was for a serious matter. I called everyday for almost 2 months before the unlicensed coordinators would even send over one lab. They didn't send over what was requested. After Being symptomatic the specialist just went on and scheduled me. I had to have immedi... read more
