I went to Dr. Patkar a little over 2 years ago after failed attempts with several doctors to totally overcome an addiction to prescription drugs and to deal with my depression. Dr. Patkar is hands down the best doctor I've ever been to. His knowledge is far beyond the scope of just his specialty. I have been very fortunate to have Dr. Patkar as a therapist, confidant and mentor for more than ten years. He has treated my depression and substance abuse issues with a wonderful combination of medication and therapeutic sessions. He has gotten me through a most difficult time in my life with his patience and nurturing spirit. He is a humanist and one of the most sincere and caring persons I have ever met!

I went to NW Raleigh Avance Care for the first time today, for a curbside Covid test. The visit was pain-free and enjoyable (I know, surprising for a visit to the doctor!). Everyone was so friendly, patient, and helpful, especially Sabrina the medical assistant and Mrs. Brown the PA. I highly recommend this establishment for all who are seeking medical care.

Everyone in this office is very friendly and very caring. From the front desk to phlebotomists and the MA and especially Jason. Highly recommend this office for medical care.

Everyone is so nice and kind here, from the front office staff to the medical support staff, to the clinician. They are LGBTQ+ friendly, and I LOVE the LGBTQ+/pride stickers and things they have everywhere. Alot of my friends recommended this place. Being openly gay and feeling welcomed at the office is something I value a lot. David Sanjurjo is wonderful. He is highly intelligent and super quick with it. I am so grateful to have found this place. Thank you all for your kindness and help.

I wish my doctor was MUCH more understanding of why I get into bad bad situations with my meds. I’m not a criminal, and I wish I wouldn’t be treated like one, or worse, like a child. :/
