My clinician conducted an excellent appointment. She was thorough and as she asked me questions related to my care, she did so in a caring manner. She was well informed as to my past history and inquired relevantly regarding future needs.
Theyre extremely understanding and communicate with each so there is very few errors. I am so happy I found this Clinic, I would be absolutely lost without them!!
I've been a pt since for about 6 months.. Debra Stoia has been wonderful! She is compassionate, patient and understanding! She listens to how I feel and makes changes accordingly! Best experience I've ever had with any medical profession.

Avance care is great. They actually listen and try to get to the root cause of your pain. I have felt so heard and cared for until I came to Avance
Since I have been going to avance care psychiatry and pain management in Chappell Hill they have been doing a great job. Everyone is always very respectful and able to help me with any questions like insurance change etc. They have kept my pain under control and tolerable. I thank everyone for all your help and concern for me.
I met today with my new doctor, Deborah Stoia, and despite all of my concerns regarding having to go back over all of my recent history (again, and again and…), I met Dr. Stoia, fully informed, friendly, professional and quite knowledgeable.
Kenisha was really kind and I felt comfortable with her right away. She was very professional and I truly felt heard when we discussed medication adjustments.
Dr.Millet and his Spravato team are incredible. They are very understanding when transportation is an issue and you need to reschedule last minute. Kat makes the process as seamless and as easy as possible. The pain management/psychology side is a little rough around the edges, at least for me. Seeing the same providers consistently is a pretty big deal for me, and that has been a slight issue. Deb Stoia is amazing, as is almost all the staff there.
