Avance Psychology and Pain Management center in Chapel Hill has taken fantastic care of me and my myriad of pain conditions. Dr Prakken and his crew there are some of the best doctors, PA’s and nurses I have ever had the privilege to work with. I’ve been seeing Dr Prakken for almost 18 years now while following him between practices. I wouldn’t want to be cared for by anyone else.

Dr Prakken was easy to speak with. He provided some good insight after a brief. Consultation. He seems very thorough and thoughtful! I feeel like Dr. Prakken actually listened to me an md understood my struggles. I’ve only seen him once and I can already tell he will be able to help me more than all of of the other doctors I’ve seen combined. I’m really looking forward to working with him on getting my mental health better and with helping my pain.
