Dr.Millet and his Spravato team are incredible. They are very understanding when transportation is an issue and you need to reschedule last minute. Kat makes the process as seamless and as easy as possible. The pain management/psychology side is a little rough around the edges, at least for me. Seeing the same providers consistently is a pretty big deal for me, and that has been a slight issue. Deb Stoia is amazing, as is almost all the staff there.

I always feel listened to! Taylor Hawkins is amazing! She is very knowledgeable, extremely compassionate, and very relatable! I always feel like she’s listening to me. I never feel judged or disregarded. It’s very hard to come by a doctor like her now a days! Especially in mental health care! Thank you Taylor!

Listen to me gave me realistic tips on how to deal with poor mental health. I have PTSD and it was really easy to talk to the doctors and therapist.

I can’t say for certain, because unc has my records so falsified ( what we talked about vs what they later say we talked about) but i think these people will be reasonable. I was researching my terrible predicament when i ran across Dr. Prakken’s video. I have been a longterm Chronic Pain Patient of the Avance doctors for ~15 years and would never consider going elsewhere for assistance in lessening my Chronic 24/7 Pain!! They listen to my issues, demonstrate empathy and caring, and always with a positive attitude toward finding suitable solutions in their efforts on my behalf. Additionally, their office staff and assistants are always friendly and helpful… as if they are all one big happy family. That is most definitely a positive for their patients!
