Intimate surroundings, great food and great value. Ideal location for a birthday dinner.
Here as a family of six. Some had Sunday roast which is fabulous. Beef is the best I’ve had in a Sunday roast - not to be missed. Others had burger and steak sandwich and fish and chips. Everyone very happy. Service was great. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. Will be back soon!

We had lunch here and our first impressions were very good. The décor and ambience is very nice. We ordered wine which I felt at £28 was expensive for house wine. The wine was nice. Our food order consisted of Eggs Benedict with Haggis on a muffin and Steak pie topped with mash. My wife enjoyed the muffin but the Steak pie and mash lacked flavour and there was not enough mash. Overall we enjoyed our lunch but I would choose something different next time
Slow service,nice but cold main food for some of our party.Chips which accomanied themwere all hot.All coffees were cold when they arrived but replaced with hot coffees which were deducted from our bill.
What a fabulous place!!! Amazing, fresh wholesome food, fantastic service and atmosphere and also the music was spot on! Will definitely be back and could t recommend anymore!!
Really interesting menu choices! I had sirloin in peppercorn and whisky sauce which was nice but maybe a bit OTT on the peppercorns. My husband has North Sea fish and chips which are the best we have ever tasted! Son had chicken goujons which were way above the usual standard for a kids menu. Nice doorman and very friendly staff.
Food delicious, service very very slow. Servers could pay attention to tables more as we sat there waiting ages even to be offered drinks. To many socialising rather than working
