Great food and cocktails - delicious lobster roll special! Loved the Badger & Edinburgh Gin branding. Attentive and friendly staff. Perfect for a girly lunch.
The only reason we visited was for a lovely meal out in our last evening in Edinburgh. As this was a Sunday we went for somewhere selling a Sunday roast. Unfortunately as soon as we were seated (we arrived 5mins early and table was being setup for us) we were told the Sunday roast had sold out aswell as the lamb. Now there isn't a huge choice to begin with so to be told those 2 options are sold out on a Sunday evening didn't leave much left to chose from. We loved this place - great atmosphere, staff, background music and choice of drinks and cocktails. Tried bar snacks one night and a full meal the other. Food was good apart from fish batter was on the burnt side so that was a bit disappointing. Even so, would definitely go back when next in Edinburgh.
Cocktails, charcuterie board, and service were all great. I ordered a steak medium rare and it was so overdone I couldn’t event cut one half of it that was completely charred and black. It seemed like a mistake that they would even bring it to the table looking like that.
Just wanted to say we had such a great dinner here tonight! Food was well priced and so tasty and the wait staff were so sweet accommodating and funny!
Food was interesting but not spectacular. Our reservation was at 8pm, we were seated on time and ordered at 8.15pm. But our appetisers only arrived at 8.50pm. And our main came at 9.30pm. Looking around, a lot of tables were also waiting for food. Service isn't bad, but OMG the kitchen is really slow. Drinks were nice though.
Great service and food. I will recommend it to friends and family.
Service was poor- the server we had earlier in the meal disappeared then when we went to pay the bill we were told rudely by him to go to the bar, the server behind the bar was eating when we went to settle the bill. The toast was burnt on my main as well.
Love B @ Co. Food lovely, staff attentive and place quite trendy. We always eat here and enjoy the delish wine
