Very good food, original recipes and cocktails. I had the "Badger's tea party" dessert, it was one of the best I ever had. I would definitely recommend :)
We stumbled upon Badger while wandering down Rose street and taking a turn on Castle. It is an excellent restaurant. We started with the braised beef shin sausage roll, very tasty. I had lamb, my husband had steak and my daughter had gnocchi. We all were happy. Cocktails are expertly prepared. Atmosphere is comfortable and service is warm. Highly recommend.
Delicious food ! Would give them 5 star just on food alone. Was not impressed with the time it took to be seated and the time it took before we were asked for drinks or food order. However, we did not have to wait long for the food to arrive and we were so happy with the food, the rest were forgiven. I would go there again :)

Business lunch with colleagues - attentive, friendly and efficient service. Food was excellent and setting relaxed and atmospheric. Will definitely consider a return!

We ordered steak and the meat was rather tough and not great quality for the price, plus the knives were really dull. However, our appetizers, drinks, and the rest of our dishes were very good, the fries were some of the best I've ever had. Our waitress was fairly attentive until she cleared our dinner dishes and we asked for the dessert menu, as she never brought it and we then sat there for 15 minutes without anyone checking on us to see if we needed anything. Great food and service. We both had pies and they were delicious and the portions large. Great decor and ambience.
We enjoyed the food very much. Service was ok but not great. My error was not reading up on what black pudding is before taking a bite 😂. The Cullen pie and Hake were fantastic. The scallops were OK. The pea salad was not our taste. I observed the onion rings at another table and wished we had selected an order. The Badger Tea dessert was interesting... great over all experience in the heart of new town.
