A little gem with a great kitchen team (the food was fantastic and portions were copious), smiley dynamic staff and a warm and cosy atmosphere. We returned the next morning for an amazing breakfast. Don’t change a thing!
Staff were really friendly and food was great. Wasn’t a huge fan of the dessert menu but everything else was top notch.
they were absolutely amazing - it was my 21st birthday and they gave my whole table a free glass of prosecco, service was amazing and everyone was so lovely! Will definitely be coming back

Quaint and interesting place, lovely meal, good service will visit again. The North Sea Hake was delicious as was the burger.
Not sure. Been many times before and has been excellent but this time. Maybe just the festival not sure I shall be back for a while. Felt was interrupting staff .
I did enjoy my meal here but I feel it was fairly average. I felt it was trying to be excellent but didn't meet one's expectations. The place was very nice, clean and comfortable. But the food was fairly ordinary. The pea soup was not particularly hot and the Cullen Pie was not a pie at all but just a mash of fish and cheese, served with mashed potato - there was no other texture except mash. Second time I’ve been for brunch now and won’t be the last. I love it! Fantastic menu, so reasonably priced too. The staff are excellent even when very busy. The ambiance is tremendous. I love all the references to the characters from Wind in the Willows. Just need try dinner now!
