Lovely food, atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend the trout and the upside down apple pie is simply stunning
We had been here last year for a drink, it restaurant was full then, so we decided to book for our trip this year and we weren’t disappointed. Food was fab and service excellent.
Fantastic food, excellent quick and friendly service but most of all as I said the food was amazing with ,y personal choice of the Sirloin Steak superb
Lovely food and great service, only complaint is that the waiting staff were bringing people from the bar to sit in the restaurant and some groups were quite loud which spoilt the atmosphere a bit for the diners.
Had been looking forward to dinner here with the girlfriend. Although our food was tasty and well cooked our experience was let down by poor service. Our waiter was a bit too laid back, possibly a bit nervous or shy, for our liking. Our main course took quite a while to appear to the point I almost went to enquire as to where it was (as we were getting fairly peckish by then) when the waiter said it would be another couple of minutes...which, to be fair, it was. Nice restaurant and handy location. The food was excellent although the portion size of the roast pigeon starter could have been more generous. Service was pretty slow on a Sunday night.
My other half and I visited Badger & Co. on a Sunday evening. We booked in advance, which I recommend. The restaurant was beautifully decorated externally with lovely Christmas lights and decorations. It took a while for us to be greeted by a member of staff and in fact my other half had to go and track somebody down so that we could be seated. Me and my Cousin arrived at the very most 2 minutes late, we were greeted and told that we would only have the table for an hour which we agreed would be ok. We were taken to a table which wasn’t set and our drinks taken. Took a while for our orders to be taken and when the food finally arrived we only had won minutes until the table was due back.
