Good food but the soup was not very hot. Everything else was lovely
We went by chance having found it on the App whilst walking in Edinburgh. The staff were excellent and we had a clean table straight away. Good selection of beers, both draught and bottled, not many ciders (sadly for my wife) but gin cocktails to make up for it. Food was quirky takes on Scottish traditional fayre but worked well. Plenty of food and came to the table hot. There is music but it was pleasant and not too intrusive. There is a quieter bar area and some hidden tables which would suit a group. Would recommend
a little disappointed really at least with the restaurant
Excellent service with fantastic food, we had a window seat whixh was perfect.
Great meal. Good service and tasty food. Veg sides don't automatically come and so this bumps the price up. Hence only 3 stars for value.
Cosy areas to sit, didn't feel nearby other diners - creative menu and yummy cocktails - had tasty fish pie
Badger and Co has a nice ambience about it and felt very comfortable within the bar. Staff were friendly and always looking out for you without being overbearing. We both had burgers and would rate them average especially the bun as trying to eat it with your hands was difficult as the bun got very soggy very quickly. We ate off the £9.95 for two courses menu and consider it excellent value even though we were not overly impressed with the burgers. Wine was very nice and not overpriced like some city centre establishments.
Badger and Co was perfect. Food was excellent (our group ordered essentially everything, you won't be disappointed), as was the service. To top it off, it was very cheap for its quality, would've been worth double what it is now.
Went to Badger and Co on a Saturday after a Six Nations game, staff were very busy but friendly and served the drinks quickly. The gins and other aperitif's certainly hit the spot and the food was delightful with lots of local produce. The wine list is short but still excellent. My Game pie and the sea bream were excellent and the desserts also met with huge approval. Sadly not back in Scotland till August but hope to fit in another visit to Badger and Co.
