Lovely afternoon..great Sunday lunch, nice setting.
Went here on a Thursday evening 'date night' with my better half. It was a great choice as the food and drinks were ace and the guys at front of house were spot-on. I'd definitely go again.
Excellent food. Must have the haggis, neeps and tatties scallops and the steak pie was delicious.
We loved the atmosphere and as librarians, we relished the Wind in the Willows theme. Very attentive service and pretty quiet.
This is a beautiful restaurant and the food was stunning - well presented and absolutely delicious. Staff are lovely, professional and friendly & this is a lovely restaurant for both families, couples or friends. We would have given 5 stars for everything if the service had been a bit quicker - if you’re not in a rush, happy to wait a while between drinks & food, then would highly recommend.

Food took a long time to come and when it did, for some in the group was pretty cold. Not very friendly staff.
Badger is favourite of mine and I eat there at least a couple of times a month. The ambience is pleasant, the staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is always tasty. However, I’m not a fan of the new menu. Some come with veg and potatoes/fries and others don’t and portions are either enormous or sparse. My friend had an enormous plate of fish and chips which she struggled to finish and I had the chicken supreme which was very tasty but the piece of chicken was barely bigger than a drumstick. Chose the cod in fennel sauce with smoked mussels, baby leeks and samphire - great choice as it was delicious and very well presented. Good to have a choice of something a bit unusual for a change. Team were attentive and really friendly. We'll definitely be back!
