Went for Easter Sunday lunch & was disappointed by the amount of food on the plate for £18.50. Immediately challenged the amount of beef - 2 very thin slices. I was told that was normal. My friend had thicker cuts so I may have just been unlucky. I was out for a boozy 3 course lunch & when they opted not to make it right, I went elsewhere for dessert & more drinks. Had no intention of spending anymore money with them. Aside from that interaction over the portion, the service was otherwise very good - but I’ll never be back f... read more

Easter Sunday lunch was disappointing. Roast beef was inadequate, three small pieces. Service was non- existent . Waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our order, eventually had to approach the staff to a ask for service . Drinks and requested horseradish arrived half way through the meal. Questioned the automatic 10 service charge which was disappointingly left on the bill. Should have realised that the place was mediocre when it was quiet n an Easter Sunday . Avoid

Had to wait over an hour for food. No one to welcome us. Had to search for member of staff to get seated.

We waited over a hour for our meals. With a 5 year old. There was seemingly a glass of prosecco for mums, we heard other tables offered this. We were over 2.5 hours till desert and leaving It was awful, but we were the only table that had this issue which was frustrated and unacceptable

It was okay. I wished they’d had more classics available in terms of the food. Everything seemed to be classic with a twist or just an almost random combination. For example, they had macaroni and cheese but it was truffle macaroni and cheese. The staff were nice enough but there was a 10% service charge added with no warning and I really didn’t like that. We paid it out of awkwardness as it was already on the bill but I absolutely hate it being put on the bill without them letting you know first. I do leave tips but I like ... read more

Food took over an hour (not rush hour, not busy), drinks order came 30minutes after we arrived (3 tinned drinks), couldn’t find staff to ask where it all was until near the end

Drinks were ok. Service was very slow despite it not seeming busy. Didn’t stay for food because not sure when we would get out. The place itself is stunning and the staff were lovely.
