The food was very average. The steak pie didn’t come with chips. The chips that we ordered were undercooked. When we arrived, we waited 3 or 4 minutes before the waiters behind the bar acknowledged us. A service charge was applied to the bill for average service.

We booked for Sunday lunch at 4 pm not knowing the Sunday roasts were first come first served. So we just missed out. But the alternatives were good.

Welcome was friendly and efficient. Waiter was again friendly . Food was delicious my beef carpaccio was the best I have had for some time. And my fish and chips was fresh and batter very light.
