Service was really good. Food was nice but quite expensive and you paid extra for fries with your pie. We had a fabulous tea cake desert which was yummy. This is a special occasion gastro pub for sure. Staff were very friendly and attentive and it’s dog friendly

Having intolerances make it tricky to eat out. I’d added to my booking note about my intolerances and heard nothing. On arrival I was given two choices for main only. The kitchen didn’t seem keen to take items off main courses for me to be able to eat other mains. Pudding was amazing. Drinks tasty. Service good. Waiting staff were friendly and restaurant itself beautiful.

Lovely birthday meal with a superb Portuguese red wine Only criticism was the Cullen Skink .. way too heavy on the potatoes and way too light on the smoked haddock Amazing Koffman chips Epic sticky toffee pudding .. yum Exceptional service and attentiveness
