My review will be tainted by the service. We had a table booked for 7pm on a Tues night, we arrived 10 minutes early, we were told to sit on the bar as the table was not ready, thats fine. We tried to get a drink, no chance, one bar tender dealing with people at the bar and dining orders. We got seated after 20 minutes, we then waited 45 minutes before any food arrived, not acceptable imo. The food was nice, but it was very slow. It took over an hour for our food to come. Vegetarian wellington portion size was very small for £23.

Met old friends here for a catch up. We arrived early but were quickly taken to a nice table in the restaurant. There was a nice vibe but quiet enough to have a good conversation. Menu was good -something for four diverse tastes but we’d checked that out beforehand. Drink selection was good. Lovely surroundings to eat but the staff a bit snooty and the fish and chips a bit greasy. Far too pricey, £35 each for fish and chips and a glass of wine!

Our table was booked for 12pm, when we were seated the waiter told us the kitchen wouldn't be open for 10 minutes, so we might need to wait. The restaurant was not busy, but we still had to wait till 12.50pm for our first course. The Chicken supreme was over cooked and dry, overall disappointed and expensive for what we experienced. We won't be rushing back
