I was extremely unimpressed with the dentist who saw me at the end of my appointment. She did not explain what she was doing or her assessment of me. She talked to the hygenist as if I were not in the room. I specifically request to NOT have her again.
It is very hard to exit North on Ballas.
I receive too many appointment confirmation requests & reminders - phone, email,& text messages. Last week I received reminders at 8:45 am for my 7:00 am appointment the same day, approximately 35 min. after I left from my visit with Julie! Ballas Dental Care has a great staff & service, however the service providing reminders could use a little "streamlining".
the situation with my replacement tooth has been very time consuming and frustrating. The replacement has been ordered twice and possibly 3 times and has not come back as satisfactory. My temp has fallen off at least 3 times. I am fairly certain that I have been in 6 times for this issue. I believe that the intentions are good but it seems that the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing and that there is confusion on my case. Please inform your long time patients when there is a change in staff. I was expecting my appointment to be with Chris but learned she had left the practice. I was assigned to her replacement but thought I should have notified so I could have made a choice before my visit. The new person was fine.
I was blown away by the cost of a simple cleaning and X-rays. I asked when I originally called and was not given a price and when I showed up I wasn't given a price till I was finished. I absolutely love your office and service but the last visit before this one was one forth the cost that I was billed. I was very upset and the girl who waited on me knew it I've been waiting for a call hope fully it's not a business ending response. I'm a single father who cannot afford to be taken advantage of.
Before the appointment, I received a total of 5 separate reminders of my appointment; 1 by text to my cell phone, one by email, and one robocall to my home phone. Oh and a reminder by mail also. Way way too many. That's not reminding, that's annoying. Can you 'please' streamline to one or 2 methods only? Maybe some sort of computer check to see whether the first one or two were received?
The hygenists always introduce themselves, but I forget after a few minutes and then feel bad to ask again. Would it be possible for everyone to wear nametags? After all, the staff has our records in front of them to glance at if they need help in recalling names. I miss the decorative ceiling light covers which I had enjoyed.
I would like to know when Mary is not going to be there because whenever I have a sub, they are not as good. The last time she was flip, insulting and rough with my teeth & gums.
