We started with Bank of Oak Ridge during July 2020. From the start the staff was helpful and friendly. I cannot thank them enough for their quick response each time we ask about something. They are available when you need them, and no details are left unanswered. I am thankful we moved our business to this bank!
Bank of Oak Ridge is a great bank overall, but the New Garden branch of Bank of Oak Ridge is the best branch office of any bank anywhere in the entire Triad! I don't want to embarrass anyone there by naming names, but one long-term teller there (her name starts with P and rhymes with "hat") devastated me by retiring a few months ago after years of amazing assistance. I have been Banking with Boor since they came to OakRidge and I have always been very pleased. They have always had very pleasing people working for them. I Bank mainly at the Branch on Pisgah Church Rd and love all the staff Tina is always very helpful and can usually give me the help I need. Mo, Melissa, and Miriam are all great. Jody helps me often when I come to Bank of Oak Ridge. She is always friendly and professional. Her knowledge of banking is wonderful. Jason has also been very helpful and kind. My mom passed several months ago, so in the past year I have had to set up a Trust checking account for my mother’s estate, had wire transfer of funds to and from the bank, IRA’s and CD’s transferred from another bank and documents that required a notory. I’m so grateful to have these employees at Bank of Oak Ridge helping me through the process.
As an older couple, my Husband and I have been with many financial institutions, but NONE has ever made us feel as welcome, cared about or treated us as well as Bank of Oak Ridge always has. We have moved to no less than 4 places any where from an hour to 3 hours away, and would not, have not, and if given the choice, will not ever leave our bank.
