Service was bad. The waitress came every 5 mins half way into our meal to check in and collect dirty dishes, it feels they wanted us out fast. No special seating or complementary dessert even though I indicated this was for a birthday celebration. She was quick to bring the check and just stood there waiting for us to pay. I've never experienced this at any other restaurant, not to mention for how much they charge. Will not come here again.
Low choices. Focus on stuck which is not something that everyone likes. Food was high in salt level.
The food is terrible, duck is full of hair. Disgusting. Later on, I checked out google reviews, it turns out this restaurant changed customers' tips many times before.
Wagyu was cooked well but cut too big w/o knifes & too tough to bite through. It was basic Chinese w/supposed high grade proteins but it wasn’t. The wok fried seafood noodles were dry & had 5 shrimps, 3 scallops & 0 lobster. The black pepper beef w/wagyu beef were very tough & could have had more flavor if they marinated a bit. The hot & sour soup was too thick & salty. The chrysanthemum soup was beautiful but lacked any flavor. We added some of the hot & sour soup into the chrysanthemum soup & thinned the hot & sour soup w/... read more
beijing duck was good. chow ho fun has no wok he. wagyu pepper beef veg was raw. string bean was good.
Sadly, our hopes for great Chinese food were dashed by Baron’s. The Peking duck, was not carved tabelside and fresh as you’d expect but tastes like reheated duck that had been out for a while. The meat was dry, the skin was chewy not crisp, and overall it was a grocery store level duck. The wok fried zucchini was ok, but under seasoned and the pieces choppy and too large. The scallops and white asparagus was the biggest disappointment - again under seasoned and woody asparagus not tender. Will not be returning.
The beef was gristley and chewy, the chicken rubbery and tough, and the vegetable fried rice was average. The only Chardonnay they had was Boomtown, which was terrible. Just wouldn't go back, Panda Express is way better. Nice atmosphere unless you are looking out into the mall at the escalators and the flourescent and bad LED lighting.
Poor services. Did not get all the food that we ordered. Had to come home hungry. No concern shown by anyone.
Drink was really good. We ordered Mapo Tofu and inside of this dish had some chunks that is called a "seasoning" without dissolving in the dish. We claimed it and our waitress gave one of my friend a new plate without saying sorry or no offering if we wanted them to remake it. It is just sad...
