Very bad food quality
The ambience is nice but the food was not worth the money. It did not taste authentic and the chicken wings are cut into small pieces and there is barely any meat in the serving. Disappointing to say the least.
Receptionist was rude . I had a reservation week ago but was arranged to be seated at the place at corner facing bathrooms and their alcohol inventory while 90% the restaurant was empty . It was a business meeting but me and my guests had a very small table and uncomfortable chairs while we saw other guests have bigger seat and less people . Food was delicious but it took forever . I am allergic to shrimp and we mentioned that to the waitress before ordering our meals. We took vegetable fried rice and we asked for a to go box. Today, we ate the fried rice and i found a shrimp in my dish. I started to have my throat itchy so i took a medicine so it doesn’t get worse. Disappointed about for that matter because that could potentially put my life in danger.
Horrible service. Rude and incompetent waiter. Gave us soup in an incorrect container that spilled all over our car. Not the type of service you expect from a fancy place like this. Didn’t even get us the drinks we ordered. I had to go to the host stand. Never refilled our drinks.
I dined in for Yum Cha menu with my beloved and has been really disappointed by the service. I literally waived my hand for a few minutes and multiple waiters only made eye contact with me but not coming over. Only when the waiter who served us at the beginning, who actually worked over the bar counter area, came over to me later. Food except the roast duck is good. Spent: $192 for 2 guests. We were party of four to have a brunch there. There were two plate with food stains. The portion was not big and the value to price was low.
We went for dim sum on Sunday. The food was terrible. We had shrimp dumplings and the shrimp was over cooked and hard. We also ordered roast pork, which was cold and very salty. Last, we ordered spareribs. The were inedible-boiled, grisly and tough. The waitress was very nice and deserves a lot of credit. My advice is do not go to Baron‘s!
