We've been coming here for about 3 years, but our latest experience finally motivated me to write this review. We LOVE every vet and tech/front desk employee who works here, and have found the care to be top notch. We have a 3 year old miniature schnoodle, and the entire office has always been so wonderful to him. It's so clear that everyone who works there truly does love animals. I brought my pug in for what I thought was a stomach upset and Dr Berger quickly determined she actually had pneumonia and confirmed it with X-rays . I'm so lucky that they were able to fit me in at the last minute and that he is so astute and experienced. He has the best bedside manner of any veterinarian I've ever met. We have lived in BPC for 24 years and for the last 10 years we've received all kinds of phenomenal care, outstanding treatment and devoted, emotional support for our now 11 year male Jack Russell. This practice now has available hours 7 days a week and will be opening a location 4x the size across the street in I believe Jan 2025. I've been going here for 3 years. You can tell that the staff really enjoys working animals. They make my dog feel at ease. He loves his doctors. They also take very good care of my cats. They have accommodated me during emergencies. Dr. Mulbach takes extra care to follow-up, which is helpful because with a million things on my to-do list her following up takes one thing of that list. Can't recommend them enough!

Dr Berk, Dr McLaughlin and all the staff here are simply amazing. So caring and kind, they really go out of their way to take the best care of your furry friends. I've never had another vet that has been so responsive... I know I can email and get a super quick response, and at times we've been concerned they've been really good about calling back quickly to speak with us. Dr. Berk was always extremely kind to my dogs and thorough with me. He will take the time to explain everything that's going on, his diagnosis, and whatever next steps are necessary. I never once felt grifted or taken advantage of. In fact, we were taking our rescue chihuahua down to Brooklyn (our rescue's vet) for tests so she could get a tooth extracted - again and again, the vet would find something in her blood work or ultrasound that meant we had to put off the extraction and schedule some more tests. My dog got something lodged in his throat the other day. I was panicked because I was worried about traveling on the subway due to covid, so I wanted to choose a vet within walking distance instead of taking the train to the emergency hospital in union square. If I can avoid taking the train, I would like to, for the sake of myself AND essential workers. The vets at Battery Park Veterinary Hospital (specifically Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Berk) have been taking excellent care for our dog for years. Morgan always greets us warmly and is excited to see our pup, and the doctors and staff are thorough and spend as much time as needed to make sure our questions are answered. Yes, the costs do seem a little bit high, but that shouldn't be a surprise in a neighborhood with some of the most expensive real estate in the city.
