Every time I bring my pets in the entire staff make us feel like our animals are their favorite patients in the world. When my puppy needed to be spayed Dr. McLaughlin made sure we knew exactly what to expect and even made the incision in such a way to save our puppy's adorable belly freckles. A few years later when our dog was sick Dr. McLaughlin saw her immediately, found the problem within a few minutes, and put her on medication that had my Rosie acting like normal just a day later. My dog got really sick this week and I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I came here in between meetings. I am so glad I did! They fell in love with my puppy right away and explained all my options right up front just so I wouldn't spend a ton of unnecessary money. I felt they were very fair and had awesome energy with my baby. He felt better within one hour of coming here and getting fluids/ medicine. I will absolutely be back! :)

i highly recommend this vet hospital. The whole staff, from the friendly receptionist to the competent technicians to the knowledgeable doctor are all wonderful. I just had a routine check up for my cat and I loved how Dr. Berk took the time to explain everything so clearly and thoroughly. He found a few issues with my beloved cat and offered several options. I can't speak highly enough!

I don't really write reviews for anything but seriously, this vet was worth visiting. I'm so relieved I took my new pup here. I'm originally from an outer borough and was really concerned about getting charged an arm and a leg in Manhattan for the same service I could get out there, but these folks were just exceptional -- friendly, reasonably priced, and total professionals. I recently adopted my first cat. I had never been to a vet before I visited this hospital. And I feel as though I can never visit any other vet because as my first experience with a vet, I do not see how any other can measure up. I have seen both Dr McLaughlin and Dr Berk with my kitten. After two months with my cat I have visited the office roughly 5 times. First for a wellness/vaccine visit where Dr McLaughlin was willing to answer any and every question I had. Brought my dog here bc she ingested chocolate. The Dr was really nice and actually took his time to talk to me about my dog. I would definately recommend this place.

Brought my cats in for their first check up since we got them a year ago. Dr. B was thorough and took time with me even though my cats were both perfectly fine. I really appreciated that (he must have picked up on my being insanely into my cats and neurotic in general). The office is very nice and his assistants are very sweet; I hardly had to wait.

After my dog got a rash on his belly, I quickly turned to Yelp to find a vet that was close to us. I saw BPVH was close to us and had good reviews. So I decided to make an appointment. It was very easy to get an appointment in the time frame I needed it. After arriving at our 3:15 appointment we were promptly taken to the exam room. I was impressed that they were on time (which seems uncommon for vets!). We had Dr. Robin Udoji as the doctor. She was very nice and gave me different options for clearing up his rash. we're fans of this place. dr. berk is a nice guy who's nice to our doggie. and the other staff members we've dealt with were gentle and good to our dog. if you compare the prices here to other parts of the country or to other parts of the world, however, you might need to go to a doctor yourself - a cardiologist. or the emergency room. but, i assume they need to pay their rent; and that's only going to happen if you pay their rates. all in all, we recommend dr. berk and his staff.
