Earlier this year, my wife passed away. we had a large house and I am a social person and didn’t want to stay there. I also ended up in the hospital for almost three weeks and was unable to return home. Since my house was in Bixby Knolls, one of my daughters found Bixby Towers and walked in a signed me up for an assisted living room. Nice facility. Clean. The room I looked at was nice. Pricing seemed fair. Concerned with the elevators. What be if there’s a fire? How do tenants get down? Very little parking available for visitors.

The entire staff from the administration to the assisted-living care providers have been absolutely fantastic. The only issue we've experienced is that my father's room had some paint and flooring that needed to be repaired and still has not been completed. Food taste is average but provides all that my dad requires.

The admin changed about a year ago and the care has gone down. For instance, they haven't had hot water since [date removed]. I don't know if the new admin will bring up the care or not. But, it isn't a par right now. They should do more mobility activities like chair yoga and light weight training.

For me personally I cannot open any of the Windows in my Place...I like some of the Activities.....Employees are courteous and helpful. Elevator is a bit scary.....Overall it is a nice Building, Seating is available outside....Most Employees are courteous and helpful!

Very friendly residents and staff. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment and is pleased with the layout and closet space. It's not a plush facility but very livable and affordable for what's provided. Can attend activities in both assisted & independent living.
