I've been dealing with Abel Furniture for 8 years and love the furniture selection and quality for most items in their inventory. I recently purchased furniture for my daughter who traveled to Texas from La for furniture since they have quality furniture at great prices above and beyond stores in La. Anyway...as I've found out with this transaction, they oversell their stock and can't necessarily backorder to get what you paid for. For God sake, never ever buy from BEL Furniture, especially from 10516 Katy Fwy location. Horrible to worst service, false promise & non-quality material. I had bought Entertainment system in 2013 and got a defective one, upon several phone calls got a replacement which is worse than the original one, so we have been living with that. Not learning a lesson, we bought couple of Beds & Mattress again this year on Black Friday, same old worst service. I have been researching queen bedroom furniture sets for a few months and came across Bel Furniture. A location was recently built near my home, and their prices are extremely reasonable. Bought dinette set on Sept 1 and paid $99 for delivery. The delivery came later that week and they informed one chair was broken. I had to reschedule another delivery window and the guy informs me he forgot the tools to put it together. He wanted me to reschedule another day. I told him that was unacceptable. He called in and said he would be back later. Four weeks later while sitting in a chair it breaks and I fall and hurt my back and hip. I called in and they want to replace the chair. Worst service I've ever experienced at a furniture store! My husband & I heard great reviews about Bel Furniture & I think they were lies. We walked in & started looking around & didn't see any salespeople. Keep walking, don't see anyone. Finally we noticed 5 salespeople helping one guest. I'm standing there looking at one of them and didn't receive a hello or anything. Plus, the store looked like a shipping warehouse. Save your time & money & go somewhere else.

Very run of the mill furniture-mostly traditional. The service was okay; I walked through the store for about ten minutes before someone finally spoke to me.

My experience with BEL Furniture was extremely disappointing! I was so enraged when I left the store. I had just finished a purchased of over $1100 at this store and their manager and back office staff still treated me rudely. They walked away while I was still asking them questions about the ripped dust skirt under the ottoman they delivered the day before. Despite my initial purchase of $1100, they were very inflexible about the down payment on the second purchase I made. Do not make any down payments to this store ... read more

No stars!!!! The worst customer service and delivery service ever!!!! First, I told the the salesperson what I was looking for. He showed me 3/4 dinettes that I didn't Like. As I was leaving the store I walked thru an area that he didn't show me and I found a set that I liked. When I asked why he hadn't shown this one, he just stared and said oh I didn't know we had this. I bought a dinette set and a delivery date was setup. Do not shop here, they have several open complaints at BBB. we went to the one on Katy free way and I10 and deeply regreted that we did. Mrs Shadow (store manager) was rude and you really have to read the fine print. she ask for 25% restocking fee even if the items are not ship if you cancel the order. on the back of the receipt stated that it applied only to special order items ( which they never tell you when you sign for it). there price i slightly low but you get what you paid for. i have to call my cc company to dispute... read more
