This was the first place I went to looking for my first new (used) car and they treated and my now husband like complete crap. They treated us like we didn't know anything. They said my payments would be over $400 a month but if I wanted a brand new car he could get the payments down because it was new??? Whatever! On March 27th I bought a vehicle that had been inspected on March 23rd. I had them to make out a "We Owe" for new State Inspection that stated they would fix anything related to state inspection if it failed. I did not trust the inspection on it. It took me two days to get hold of Service Department no-one answered phone and no return call from my messages. I see a car I've been looking for, so I first talk to a young guy who hands me off to Stan. We sit and discuss the car; we agree on a price (after the usual-consults his manager); finally he announces that the battery is dead. So come back tomorrow and drive it. (They have mechanics on site...tomorrow?). So the next morning Stan calls me to say they jumped it ("someone left the light on; the battery is fine") and it's running and tells me it will be across the street. Very disappointed in the response time from the service department about a known issue with Highlanders. Hopefully, I will get a positive response soon. The manager was supposed to call me no later than Wednesday.
Very dissatisfied with the service department, which is Bergland Toyota's responsibility, and even more dissatisfied (if that is possible) with my Toyota Prius whose hybrid battery died 6 months after the warranty expired. Don't buy a Prius if you intend to keep it long term and don't buy a car which must be serviced at Toyota. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
How about this: I had a 6pm appt to purchase a truck yesterday, 3/14/14. I drove an hour with 2 small children to find out they SOLD the truck 3 hours before I showed up.... And NO ONE bothered to let me know that they sold it. Garbage dealership. I didn't even get an apology.
Not happy and they are liars. The vehicle is nice and price was fair but customer service is poor and was lied to on several occasions. First was about a loan and the next one that really pissed me off was when i traded for the vehicle I left my Sunglasses in the truck, so I called as soon as they opened the next day and I told them about it and they said they would set them aside for me.
