I am taking the time to write a review after reading what I'm 100% confident are a bunch of fake reviews for Dr. Bernstein. I had my procedure done in 2009. I had classic male pattern baldness, major receding hairline since my Grandfather on my mom's side was bald like Kojak. I have very thick hair, but since I was in middle school, I've hated my forehead and hairline. My forehead is huge, and the hairline receded on either side of my temples. I had a very difficult case to solve. I had bald swollen patches due to an accident and couldn't find any doctor willing to operate me: Dr Bernstein saved my scalp and my life as well. Tne results are fabulous and my hairline is totally restored. He might appear a bit cold but it's because he focuses and analyzes each patient with the maximum attention. He's the best doctor I ever came across

Dr. Bernstein, Dr. Wolfeld and staff are excellent. I had a great experience with my hair transplant prior, during and after my procedure. The staff and Doctors were courteous and very professional. I felt their patient care and commitment was great. They took the time to listen to all my concerns and answered all my questions. I think I'm lucky to be a patient of Dr. Bernstein. I didn't rush into getting a hair transplant. I spent twenty years as a bald man, and took my time researching doctors. I read blogs and news reports and looked at every new procedure and drugs available, but all my research pointed me to his practice. I found him to be very kind and although his bedside manner is a bit abrupt, the results were amazing. I had two procedures with him and was really, really happy with the outcome. You would never be able to tell.

Had a procedure done about 12 years ago when I beleive that Dr. Bernstein was with another group. The procedure went reasonably well, I think, and the results are not bad (having no other personal experience to compare it to). If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy feeling from your doc, this is probably not the guy for you. He may be competent, but just know that, if this is a factor for you, try and find someone equally competent who has a better and more patient friendly manner.
