Would never consider using this doctor if I ever decided to do a hair transplant again, did a procedure with him years ago, horrible results, I now have to go with the head shaved look so my hair line is even, which ironically what I was trying to avoid, if I wanted that look, I would have never wasted about $10,000 on a hair transplant. Had a consult with my 20 year old son. Was referred by our dermatologist who knows Dr Bernstein very well. Despite this connection, and after a one-hour wait, he showed little interest in the patient, barely looked at him or talked to him, and said there was nothing but Rogaine that he could recommend. Said he wasn't a candidate for any other treatment because he had anxiety and that meant he would never be happy with any result from either oral medication or perhaps one day hair restoration. Bernstein is a fraud, he lies about how many grafts he does. Another thing, I don't know how it works in other places but they put very unfair statements where you check the box when signing papers before the procedure. There's one where you have to check the box or not that if they do more grafts than expected that you will agree to pay for the extra grafts. It's a lose lose situation. Unfortunately they are doctors who to choose to be a doctor as they feel its their greatest call in life. And there are doctors like Dr. Benstein and Dr Sejal Shah who is all over the internet but their only goal is just to scam you out of $ 350 consultation fee. The most horrible experience of my life. Not to mention a waste of $350. I'm a young woman so hair loss is an absolutely devastating thing for me to go through. Waste of a $325 consult! Yes, they charge that much for Dr. Schweiger to absently look at your 'file' prepped by the front desk and his assistant that was clearly phoning it in as well. I came in to get diagnosed by experts for a bizarre instance of hair loss possibly triggered by acne meds or other issues showing on my CBC. Hair replacement was an option for me after diagnosis and the testing the site claims they offer.
