I had a tenant in a loft-condo that I own in the Central West End and decided to sell it. I used a number of different contractors (electricians, painters, flooring, etc.) during the rehab process. The only contractor that I was 100% satisfied with was Beseda Flooring. From the start, my Beseda rep/estimator (Dave Boston) was professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive, from flooring selection to pricing to follow-up after completion. I went with a dark brown vinyl-plank product for the main level and dark gray carpet in the bedroom/loft area.
Beseda worked with my schedule to get in as soon as possible, knowing that I was putting the property up for sale. When the project started, they discovered a light layer of mold on the cork underlayment under the old wood flooring. The owner of Beseda (Brian Beseda) personally met me at the condo that evening, reviewed my options, and then immediately went to work to find new cork underlayment (for sound dampening on the concrete subfloor), reaching out to all of his distributors/manufactures to locate in-stock product. He began the replacement of the cork the next day and only charged me for the cost of the cork!
We ran into an issue after the carpeting was installed; an issue that I created, not Beseda. I will not share the details so as not to embarrass myself. Even though the issue was not Beseda’s creation, they pulled out the newly installed carpet and put down new carpet, at no charge to me. I couldn’t believe it! A customer of theirs had an issue, and they did what they could to fix it, and they did. They have a customer for life!
My real estate agents toured the loft-condo before the rehab and after. They loved the finished project and will be putting the condo on the market in a few weeks. Bottom line, the finished product was amazing! It is going to sell at a much higher price now, I am confident of that…
Thank you Dave, Brian, and the Beseda Flooring Team!
