Bethesda Chimney Services were exceptional!! Yes, they were running few minutes late but we’ve received a courtesy call. Came to our house to inspect the chimney, showed us pictures of how badly it needed cleaning and showed us pics how perfect and ready for use the chimney is now! Will be using them again! Provided objective, fact-based analysis of all chimney/fire systems, complete w/ digital photos (emailed also) of current internal chimney condition. All paperwork was electronic. Explained in first paragraph. This was in November before Thanksgiving. Bethesda Chimney came and told me that I didn't need any repairs nor cleaning. I paid for the service with Angie's List before they came. They said I could use their service in 2018 or even more in the future. The young men said maybe in 50 more times of using the fireplace, then it would need cleaning. I don't have a fire often; maybe five or six times a year. Very professional. Cleaned up after finish. rebuilt chimney. Price was nearly half of other quotes received.
Took a while to complete the coordination for the task order. Once done, there was still some confusion on what needed to be accomplished, and in the end not everything promised was delivered. Costs were a bit higher jab expected, and it was hard to determine that I really got a “deal” through Angie’s list., rather than that being priced in to the total. They could also do a better job of cleaning up. Repair and repointing of exterior, garden brick wall.
