Excellent post-golf lunch. Views of #1 tee box and #18 green. Hot, high quality food and good drinks from the bar. Good service. Had the southern burger (pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes & bacon) and was impressed. As much as i love fine seafood dining in hilton head this may have been my favorite meal of the trip.
This is such a great place to get some quality food after around of golf or a morning on the beach. The staff was awesome. I highly recommend anyone to stop by Big Jim's!!!
Great food and atmosphere!! I had the pizza and it wa delicious. Hot when brought to the table and just spicey enough. Love this place and will return!!

Just picked up Big Jim's Easter lunch/dinner. Says it's for 4-6, but my wife & I will get more than six meals from the great spread they provided: ham, scalloped potatoes, rolls, squash soup, salad, veggies & coma inducing carrot cake. Tasted great at a stupid low price. Way to go BJ!
Had the pleasure of spending Christmas week at Palmetto Dunes. We have visited Big Jim's on past trips and never had a bad experience. Were there in October and due to Laurel's great personality and Class A service, we returned, and as expected, we were not disappointed. My good friend and I had lunch for the first time at Big Jims on Hilton Head Island, SC. I ordered the grouper sandwich, and my friend ordered the pulled pork plate with collards and coleslaw. The food was excellent, and the service outstanding. The grouper perfectly cooked and the sign of a good southern kitchen is their pulled pork and collards. Here is a shout out to Christina (Tina) and Chelsey for their friendly and welcoming personalities, as well as, their great table service. I highly recommend Big Jims for lunch.
Took a golf lesson that included lunch. Service was great. We've eaten here before, and as always the food was delicious. We both had seafood, always fresh. Good place for casual dining. Great views of the golf course.
Avoid the pizza. Oven not hot enough. Bottom is undercooked. Wings were forgettable and cesar salad was also meh. Good place if you are too lazy to venture out but that is about it.
